In Domaine de Colonat, a family winery in Burgundy, Christine, Bernard and Thomas produce exclusively one grape variety: Gamay Noir. They have a passion for this grape variety Gamay, that give fantastic red wine, very fruity , very fragrant. It’s a fascinating wine.

In the COLLONGE family, wine is a passion. The know-how was transmitted from father to son since 7 generations and since 1828. They produce some of the best « Crus » produced with Gamay : MORGON, MOULIN A VENT, FLEURIE, CHIROUBLES and REGNIE. Few names of wines which make the palates dream.

Because the quality of a great wine doesn’t exist without a very good quality of grapes, their work starts in the vines. They work in total respect for Nature. That’s essential to protect and preserve their fabulous Terroirs.

The picking is done by hand at the peak of maturity. Only the best grapes are selected after two sorting.

Domaine de Colonat is distinguishable for his very good quality of wine. Presentation of bottles reflects this image of good quality.

This know-how and quality are recognized by various awards and prices (Macon, Paris, London).

In Domaine de Colonat, they cultivate 12 Hectares of vines, and produce about 100.000 bottles per year.

Export represent 40% of their sales. Their wines are present in Europe (Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, Austria), America(Mexico, Canada), Asia( South Korea).

On this day, Domaine de Colonat wines are not present on the Irish Market. COLLONGE Family is looking for a wine importer to establish her wines on the Irish market.
